SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — At the National Institute of Public Safety, we believe a new career can start with a single opportunity—and sometimes, that opportunity comes free of charge.
That’s why we launched our Free Guard Card Training Giveaway California through our social media channels, giving motivated individuals a chance to begin a high-demand, high-impact career in the security industry—without the financial burden.
We’re proud to announce the winners of this social media giveaway:
@the_officialbrick_
@adriansantoyo12
@50.omardy
Each winner is now enrolled in our BSIS-approved training program. Their journey starts online and continues with in-person instruction on January 12 at our Santa Clarita training center, where they’ll complete California’s mandatory Powers to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force course.
Once certified, they’ll be eligible to apply for their California Guard Card and step into real-world jobs—protecting people, property, and communities across the state.
Security isn’t just a job anymore. It’s a profession. From retail protection to corporate security, patrol services to executive protection, licensed guards are in high demand—often in roles that pay well above minimum wage.
“We created this giveaway to break down barriers,” said a National IPS spokesperson. “Many people have the drive to build a better future but need that first step. That’s where we come in.”
Our winners aren’t just getting a free class. They’re receiving state-certified, employer-ready training designed to get them hired fast. They’ll also have ongoing support from a provider that stays with them long after the course ends.
We received over 100 entries via our social media platforms, from people across Los Angeles County and beyond. This shows us one thing clearly: People are ready to work. They want opportunity—and affordable, trusted training to help them reach it.
That’s exactly what we offer at National IPS. It’s also why we’ll be launching more Free Guard Card Training Giveaway California opportunities on social media in the months ahead.
