Course Description

The American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning Course provides essential skills to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. Complete the online portion at your own pace, then attend an in-person skills session with a certified American Red Cross / National IPS instructor.

Upon successful completion, students receive an official American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED digital certification—valid for two years.

• Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• No prior experience required

• Completion of both components:

  1. Online Learning Module (self-paced; approx. 2 hours 5 minutes)

  2. In-Person Skills Session led by a certified American Red Cross & National IPS instructor

• The online portion must be completed before the in-person session

• A PC or tablet with high-speed internet is required for the online course

• Scheduling for the in-person session is completed through the National IPS platform

After you successfully complete both the online portion and the in-person skills session, your American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED digital certificate will be issued.

Your certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion.
